Citizen is our first night in Berlin, the beginning of a bi-monthly musical journey featuring our artists and special guests. We hope you will join us!

Citizen is the place to hear forward thinking electronic music and new sounds from cutting edge artists who have decided to make their home in Berlin. Expect to hear diverse sounds across the spectrum of live electronic music and DJs including ambient, Sci-fi, synth pop, house and techno.

People who come to Citizen are trailblazers and tastemakers. They are the people who are known amongst their friends for having cutting edge taste and for hearing of exciting new acts before anyone else does. They’re coming to Citizen because they’re excited to experience music from artists beyond Berlin - Argentina, France, Sweden, UK, their minds and ears are open.

Our next night showcases 4 hugely talented and diverse artists:

Berghson (

Berghson is a Berlin based artist originally from France.

Classically trained in piano, Berghson is now known for his absorptive, richly textured electronic sounds. Strongly influenced by techno and rave culture, Berghson is currently working on his next Ep which will be released by Tal der Verwirrung.
Berghson works with a modular system which gives him his authentic sound. His Livesets are powerful with fat basslines and clear melodies that fulfills the room ! He's also known as “The Imperator"

Stina Francina ( - It’s been a busy year for the Gothenburg native who moved to Berlin in 2017 to study Electronic Music Production and Performance at dBs Berlin. Since then she has done a remix for Pindura (Dark Beauty), produced mixes for GLUK and female:pressure. Summer 2018 also saw her become the the music curator for Pandora art gallery in Berlin and appear at Blysjön festival in Sweden. Stina’s unique sound straddles the boundary between house and techno, favouring hypnotic rhythms with a touch of acid, whilst occasionally treating the dancefloor to a heavy techno banger. Stina is well known for her ability to play well past closing time, even if there’s only one person left in the club, so you may not be able to leave once she gets started.

Emme ( - Emme takes her influences from the sci-fi films she grew up watching as a child in Argentina. Using a mixture of hardware controllers and synths, Emme creates beautiful, soaring space-scapes and deep sonic explorations. Emme released her first album “Live at the Edge of a Black Hole” in 2016 and has performed it live on a number of occasions in Europe and South America, including with a full orchestra. She also DJs as one half of techno duo “The Powers that be” and claimed her Berlin techno experience as influenced her sound on her forthcoming EP “Into the Darkness”. This EP features entirely new, unrelease materials and you can hear it for the first time at Citizen.

future:remnants ( - Berlin based future:remnants (aka Fermweh) makes emotional, dark techno inspired by the urban cityscapes of Berlin and London. Originally from Wolverhampton by way of London and New York, his influences start at the UK Industrial and EBM scenes of the late nineties and early 2000s, with bands like Nine Inch Nails, Icon of Coil and Frontline Assembly leaving their mark on his sound. More recently Fermweh’s tracks have been shaped and nurtured by the European and Detroit Techno scenes, with the records of Agoria, Answer Code Request, Ben Klock, Acronym, David August, Max Cooper Richie Hawtin, Scuba and Carl Craig all leaving their own impressions.

Lo-fi analogue glitch and haunting melodies sit alongside driving techno rhythms to create something that should satisfy the most avid raver or beard stroking IDM fan. Fermweh’s music moves seamlessly between deep and melodic, and raw, hard, danceable jams. Kevin has recently done remixes for Icelandic DnB producer Ordlaus and has an EP inspired by the recorded sounds of Berlin due for release at the end of autumn 2018.
